We are very fortunate to have fantastic grounds and facilities to support our learning. The school playground space features two hard surfaces, a mound, an area where we can get creative and a large field. We enjoy climbing on Monkey Mayhem, our adventure trim trail, at play times and we love exploring our Forest School area. Our school pond is home to a wide variety of different creatures. We have a beautiful spiritual garden decorated with prayer flags made by our Year 6 pupils – a small seating area provides the perfect space for class collective worship or an outdoor story session. Our large outdoor classroom can be used throughout the year. In our allotment area, children learn the skills of being self-sufficient – all classes are involved in maintaining the plots and we have an active Gardening Club which ensures our crops are well cared for.

Windmill Class benefits from its own large secure garden area which includes a play area with a sandpit; a muddy area; paths for bikes; a climbing frame, a large canopy and beautiful storytelling chair. Kingsway pupils also have their own secure garden complete with a stage, water play feature, storytelling chair and a sandpit.
Within the school building itself, we have 6 large classrooms as well as a Computer Suite with an additional mobile laptop trolley. Our school hall is where we gather for collective worship and is home to our brand new wall bars which we thoroughly enjoy using for indoor P.E. In our School House there are two additional teaching spaces for small group work and a well resourced library where we can borrow fiction and non-fiction books.
